So there's this state called Washington...

I am moving! I'm so excited, I just want to go right now! I have to keep telling myself not to pack yet, I still have a whole week left to do that.
I have been thinking about it for quite some time now, but I finally have the courage to do it. For the past nine-ish months I have been searching for a job and...no luck. I am hoping that I'll be able to find work there.
Mainly, the reason why I want to go is because I want a fresh start. I feel like a lot of the decisions I've made have been to make other people happy or because it has been expected of me. But now this is my decision and I'm at peace.
Hopefully I will have more cause to update my blog. (No one really reads it anyway.)

I'm ready to do this!

Wish I...could be

So I've been watching my nieces for Carl and Desi. Haylee has been into princesses in a big way and we watch Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid and Cinderella II pretty much every day. It's actually pretty cute because she loves the songs and knows every word to once upon a dream and always sings Ariel's song (I'm talking about the one where she doesn't say words and sings to Ursula, if you know what I'm talking about then cool. If not...oh well). Carlee, of course, worshipping her sister in every way, tries to copy the tune and it actually sounds really good for a 16 month-old!

Tonight we were watching The Little Mermaid (again) and Haylee seemed even more fascinated by the movie than usual. When Ariel was singing Part of Your World, Haylee was right there, singing along and doing the same movements as Ariel. She even did the part where Ariel whispers "wish i could be". I had to hold back a laugh because it was so stinking cute! And I think she might also be more infatuated by Prince Eric's charm than the little mermaid herself! Every 10 seconds I heard "where's Eric? where did Eric go?". So funny.

All I Want For Christmas...

I always have such a hard time figuring out what I want for Christmas and my family gets so irritated with me. I've been thinking about what I want this year, and even though I had a really hard time with it, I am putting my list on here.

Movies...I love them and will not reject any given to me.

Socks... I'm a real big fan. And I have like four pairs left.

I really am a huge nerd and love, love, love books. I don't own many, but I would like to.

I can't help myself...red high top converse. Aren't they beautiful?

And lastly...brightly colored nail polish to enhance my "fun side".

Three of my roommates and I decided not to go to family home evening one Monday night because of unnecessary drama and the fact that everyone likes everyone and we are the only ones that do not find our FHE brothers attractive. (And the activity was karaoke, which, those who know me well, I don't go for.) So we skipped and went to the local HORKley's to get humongous soda cups. When we got home we made massive amounts of cookie dough and put them in bowls (as pictured below).

So I ended up getting a massive stomach ache and a new apreciation for tums.
